Toyo 7-Series focuses on repeatability, uptime and ease of operation: smarter plasticizing (SHIN), a stronger and more flexible clamping unit, and a redesigned HMI that turns advanced control into everyday simplicity. It’s the next practical step up from the 6-Series: more stable metering and injection, higher mold-mounting flexibility, cleaner operation, and native readiness for connected production.

Why the 7-Series

The 7-Series focuses on repeatability, uptime and ease of operation: smarter plasticizing (SHIN), a stronger and more flexible clamping unit, and a redesigned HMI that turns advanced control into everyday simplicity. It’s the next practical step up from the 6-Series: more stable metering and injection, higher mold-mounting flexibility, cleaner operation, and native readiness for connected production.

What’s new vs 6-Series at a glance

Area 7-Series improvement
Plasticizing
New S-HIN screw reduces compression-shear heat, stabilizes plasticization and widens resin window; improved metering repeatability. New check ring design (≥90 mm) closes faster with less backflow.
Clamping & Frame
Larger daylight and tie-bar spacing on many models; linear guides standard up to Si-450-7; higher frame rigidity; standard clamping-force sensor for monitoring and auto-correction.
Thermal Control
Internal thermocouple at nozzle for tighter temperature control; optimized panel cooling with add-on fans when needed.
HMI & Control
New SYSTEM800 SE: split-view monitors, larger on-screen calculator, condition replay/compare, HELP links to manual. Five S-TMC drive modes + V+α acceleration profiles.

Core technologies that change daily work

S-HIN plasticizing system

S-HIN inherits the strengths of SAG and goes further: it minimizes compression of resin and balances heater heat, suppressing break-up and local overheating. The result is a wider resin window, shorter and more stable metering, lower variation in cushion and filling pressure, and better repeatability at high cycle.

High-accuracy clamping with more space for molds

Expanded daylight and tie-bar spacing across the range make it easier to mount larger or more complex molds and to integrate handling devices. Linear guides are now standard up to Si-450-7, boosting platen running accuracy and increasing allowable movable-platen mass (≈+50% on average). A built-in clamping-force sensor supports monitoring and automatic correction to avoid under/over-clamp conditions.

SYSTEM800 SE — see more, adjust less

Side-by-side monitor views, bigger keypad, and a ‘condition review’ that recalls past golden runs for the same part to highlight differences. Five S-TMC drive modes cover thin-wall, long-fiber, hydraulic-like behavior and high-cycle work; V+α offers five acceleration profiles for finer approach to the part.

Process intelligence, baked in

meltcon® (standard) measures resin viscosity and auto-adjusts barrel temperatures to keep the melt in spec despite lot changes, recycled content, or dryer drift. The controller also diagnoses check-ring wear, auto-zeros the injection load-cell at heat-up, and can coordinate starts/stops with peripherals via spare I/O.

Safety, compliance, connectivity

Meets ISO 20430:2020 with improved safety circuitry and electro-mechanical door locks. For connected factories, the 7-Series supports EUROMAP 77/82.1, ships with T-Station lite for fleet monitoring and traceability, and T-Remote Web for remote HMI, alarms, and condition changes.
